![]() My exhaust system now sounds GREAT- low and beefy at idle, and barely louder until WOT and even then it still barely gets very loud at 5,000 RPM+.Best of all it has helped engine temps as well as cabin temps (hot plugged old cats), and the engine pulls smoother with a TAD more power.you won't see much power from hi-flow until you're running over 300HP in an NA.So, it not only works well but also sounds really good.no living with whatever the unheard system you buy online actually sounds like on YOUR car. So you guys think i should put my HKS tips on and be done? Also the extra HP i would gain from doing that wouldnt be worth it right?Do yourself a favor, find a custom exhaust shop that bends their own aircraft TI tubing and have them do a full cat-forward exhaust for your NA- hi-flow Magnaflow cats, resonators, and stainless (non-polished for less cost) mufflers with tips of your choice. My system on my NA is all completely guaranteed for life, and they will mate the system to headers when/if I do it for no extra cost over the $1,000 I paid for it.I've been in and out of the shop 3 times getting the sound just right, all at no extra cost or trouble. ![]() Dcskater676 wrote:Well for the 1st thing i dont want the be loud at all i want a nice clean sound and im going with 2.25 pipes, he said(exhaust shop) that 2.25 is what would run nice.
